Given that we mainly create welded structures, we – at SALFER – pay keen attention to the most delicate stage of the entire production process, going that extra mile to achieve the desired goal.

Our entire welding personnel is certified by Istituto Italiano della Saldatura (The Italian Welding Institute) in compliance with the UNI EN 287-1 standards, for the following processes:

- 111 -  SMAW welding (with soldarable electrode) with rutile, basic and cellulose coating.   

- 135 - MIG-MAG welding
- 141 - TIG welding

In addition, we are qualified in the submerged arc welding procedure, with rotary table and rollers positioning elements, engaging qualified personnel in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 1418 - SAW welding standard.

In addition, our welding coordinator is under training to obtain the International Welding Specialist (“IWS”) certificate.

Within our organization, we have inspection and control personnel (certified in compliance with the ISO 9712 standards) for the following procedures: 

control with PENETRATING LIQUIDS  PT method

control with MAGNETIC PARTICLES  MT method

control with ULTRASONIC  (UT)  method
